Character design for the new brand identity for Everyday Self Defense(ESD). I was one of the illustrators that developed poses that would suit the new brand identity.
The visual language blends dynamic linework with comic-inspired 'swooshes' to convey a sense of kinetic energy and momentum. By translating the concepts of self-defense into powerful, fluid shapes, the artwork amplifies the core strength of the ESD brand. To reinforce their 'come as you are' ethos, the system incorporates a diverse range of body silhouettes, celebrating inclusivity and representation throughout the brand identity.
The final assets were delivered in vector format for infinite scalability and use across various digital and print touchpoints.
